MARCH WEIGH IN . . . gained :(

I am posting my weight for March and I am doing it with some sadness as I have gained this month. I am sad because I lost control one day, can you believe that I gained 5 pounds in one night and was only able to lose 2 of it before the month was over. I am still learning and no one can be good all the time right? (so I keep telling myself). I learned that I can have a bit of what I really want every now and then, but if I choose to gorge all in one day it will definitely come back to bite me in the butt ๐Ÿ˜‰ It is probably worse to gorge for 1 day than spreading it out over time. Correct me if I am wrong! As I always say tomorrow is another day . . . life is a learning experience for sure! On a more positive note, I have gotten myself going with an exercise program my neighbour put me on and loving it so far. She kicks my butt and when she isn’t there I kick my own butt. I am sore every day, but they say that once my mussels get used to it, it will get better. I hope so, I can’t imagine being sore 24/7 all the time. So here is to a new month, spring in the air and in my step!!!

I think you have a really good attitude about the gain. I know how you feel. I’m the queen of maintaining right now, but it’s been about a year and I still have 20lbs to lose. I’m tired of holding on to them. I keep trying and I’m confident that I will lose the weight eventually. I know for some people it’s easy to say just stop eating so much and move more. I’ve got the moving thing down, but I admittedly struggle when it comes to food. I often wish I was one of those people that only eats because they have to and not because they truly enjoy the food.

I’m glad you are enjoying your workouts. Let’s keep trying!

Thank for your inspiring words, you are absolutely right. It takes time and dedication. I didn’t gain it over night, so I have to remember I will not lose it over night either! Thanks for stopping by ๐Ÿ˜‰

Don’t get discouraged by a tiny little setback. It sounds like you’re really on the right track. And the muscle soreness will absolutely get better over time. I remember when I first started out and I was sore all the time, now it’s rarely an issue. Keep up the good work ๐Ÿ™‚
